HISTORY

The business was started by Ferdinand Beckmann, a wood worker building furniture and caskets. Our oldest ledger is from 1876. The Beckmann family, from Ferdinand, to his son Max H. Beckmann, to his son Roy F. Beckmann, has been serving the community since that time.

During Fredericksburg's 150th celebration in 1996, our firm received an award from the city for over 100 years continuous service. Beckmann's have received a similar award from the Gillespie County Historical Society.
